Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, is a therapeutic approach that can be integrated into psychotherapy to help you work with difficult emotions, thoughts, and experiences. EFT combines elements of cognitive therapy with gentle tapping on specific points on the body while bringing awareness to what you are experiencing.

EFT can help create space for emotional processing, greater self-awareness, and a sense of relief. It can be particularly helpful when emotions feel overwhelming, stuck, or difficult to put into words.

How it May Help:

  • Easing feelings of anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Working with difficult or uncomfortable emotions

  • Reducing the intensity of emotional reactions

  • Processing distressing thoughts, memories, or experiences

  • Supporting greater emotional regulation and a sense of calm

  • Working through fears, worries, and self-limiting beliefs

  • Cultivating self-compassion and a kinder inner dialogue

  • Supporting you through challenging transitions or situations
